Minimally Invasive Mitral Valve Surgery Course
This course, held by Prof. Dr. Nikolaos Bonaros (Deputy Director of the
Cardiac Surgery Department) and cardiac surgeons and anesthetists from
the Tirol Kliniken Innsbruck team aims to provide participants with
theoretical and practical knowledge of endoscopic minimally invasive
mitral valve surgery (MIMVS) through frontal teaching and observation
of interventions performed
in the operating room.
To offer a more in-depth experience, the number of participants
is limited to about 4 attendees from different centers or 5 attendees from
a single center
It is exclusively open to candidates holding:
• Specialization in Cardiac Surgery;
• Specialization in Anesthesia, Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Pain;
• Specialization in Diseases of the Cardiovascular System; or
• the same specializations related to previous denominations/systems.
