Aortic Root Management Course
This course is held by Prof. Ruggero De Paulis, Director of the Cardiac Surgery
Department at the European Hospital, Unicamillus University in Rome and his team.
The course aims to provide participants with theoretical and practical
knowledge in treating aortic root diseases through frontal presentations
and direct observation of surgical procedures.
The course will focus on the correct approach to the dilated or small
aortic root associated with tricuspid and bicuspid valve diseases.
During the course participants will have the opportunity to deepen
their knowledge in terms of:
• Valve sparing aortic root replacement
• Aortic root enlargement
• Biobentall
To offer a more in-depth experience, the number of candidates is limited to 4 participants
It is exclusively open to candidates holding a Specialization in Cardiac Surgery
