He then&nbsp;moved to St Antonius Hospital in&nbsp;Nieuwegein, the Netherlands,&nbsp;where he underwent fellowship training in cardiothoracic&nbsp;surgery.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Sardari Nia has received multiple awards for his research,&nbsp;including the EACTS Techno-College Innovation Award for his&nbsp;invention of a high-fidelity endoscopic mitral valve surgery&nbsp;simulator.
