considered when caring for <strong>patients with severe\u00a0aortic stenosis<\/strong>.<sup>1\u00a0<\/sup><\/p><p>Three key recommendations stand over 10 years,<sup>2<\/sup> and in recent years there has been a trend towards a greater use of bioprosthetic valves.<sup>3<\/sup> On the other hand, mechanical valves continue to be associated with bleeding risks because of the need for lifelong anticoagulation therapy, leading to lifestyle changes.<sup>4-6<\/sup><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-eed6aa1 elementor-section-full_width elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"eed6aa1\"
